Who We Are:

 

 

Lisa Davis has enjoyed an eclectic career combining her passion in theater, children’s education, and programming. She founded the Kentucky Fried Theatre, an improvisation troupe based in Los Angeles. Lisa went on to perform cabaret shows in Chicago, Palm Beach, Minneapolis, Miami and New York City at Lincoln Center. She became the first Director of Education and Family Programming at The National Cowgirl Museum in Fort Worth, Texas. Most recently, she served as Director of Education at The Magik Theatre in San Antonio, Texas.

 

Todd Hart has been working in youth theater for more than 35 years.  He has produced, directed, music directed and/or choreographed more than 50 youth productions and has taught numerous classes in acting, improvisation, voice, movement, dance, musical theater and much more.  Todd believes young people can do anything they want and loves helping them achieve their goals.  Some of his former students include Kirstin Maldonado and Mitch Grassi of the Grammy Award-winning Pentatonix, Miguel Cervantes (Hamilton in HAMILTON – Chicago), Major Attaway and Brian Gonazales (ALADDIN – Broadway), Jennifer Stone of Disney’s The Wizards of Waverly Place, Jay Johnson (Chip in ON THE TOWN – Broadway) and Will Ganss (ABC News).  Todd looks forward to giving you a boost as you reach for your star.

 

Darren Weller is a venerable actor and director of theatre stages internationally and is currently the Associate Artistic Director at Cockroach Theatre Company.  Originally from Australia, Darren received his acting training from Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane.  He has worked extensively as an actor with Australia’s major theatre companies most notably performing the role of Ray Dooley in Tony Award winning director Garry Hynes’ production of The Beauty Queen of Leenane at The Sydney Theatre CompanyFor television, he was one of the lead cast members in the 11 part sketch comedy series Double Take for Freemantle Media and Channel 7 and has appeared in guest roles for many Australian broadcast network shows.  In Las Vegas, Darren directs The Piff Show at The Flamingo and was the Resident Director on Human Nature’s The Motown Show at The Venetian and Spiegelworld’s much acclaimed production of Vegas Nocturne inside Rose.Rabbit.Lie. at The Cosmopolitan.  Other Las Vegas directing credits include Spinning into Butter at Cockroach Theatre Company, Macbeth  for Nevada Conservatory Theatre at UNLV and The Small Space Festival at Emergency Arts. Darren has a keen interest in theatre education and has run numerous classes at the Australian Theatre for Young People (ATYP) and The Theatre of Image.
